The time of day of an affair is also a factor in setting a mood. A picnic during the middle of the day makes sense. But these pictures show a wedding ceremony scheduled just prior to sunset. The reception tent was set up more formally with full linen and silverware for a catered buffet, complete with a carving station. As you can see, nature did her part with providing elegant lighting while the sun was setting. This gave way to the chandeliers in the tent as the evening progressed.
