Use of Facilities for Reunions and Group EventsWe want your group to simply have the best time possible. The details below will provide you with more information to help you make the right choices concerning your group, and to know what to expect. Again, feel free to contact us. We encourage event planners to arrange for a tour of the property to see how we might best meet your specific needs. For lodging, Stone Mountain Lodge can sleep between 38 and 76 people depending on how many need their own bed. Another 20 to 30 people could comfortably make use of the campground, yet up to 50 is possible. See Accommodations for more specific information on lodging. Please see the Group Lodging Policies regarding reservations and payment. For events in the Garden Area, there is a practical limit of about 50 persons seated, or 100 persons standing. The pool area is comfortable for about 30. The sheltered Garden Area near the pond is intended to be used for groups to
gather where they supply their own food and drink. You may have live music or
The Garden Area may be reserved in advance for your group, for one day of your stay (Monday through Thursday only), if you have at least 10 units booked, for $500. Otherwise, when your group arrives at Stone Mountain, the Garden Area may be reserved for one day of your stay at no charge. And, the Garden Area is available on a first come first served basis for any lodging guests' own use if it has not already been reserved for any group or event. If a number of outside guests are going to join you, or you would like to use the Garden Area without staying overnight, you will need to specifically reserve it according to the rates and policies for Wedding Packages. Pool Area Use The Pool is generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, yet may be open as early as mid- May or as late a late September, depending on the weather and other factors. Any group may make use of the pool at any time it is open. There are no reservations of the Pool Area. We ask that you be considerate of others that may be staying at the lodge regarding the use of the pool. Pool towels are supplied. Optional Group Supplies and Services The following may be provided if reserved at least 2 days in advance:
Continental Breakfast can be provided at the Pool or Garden Area. It includes coffee, tea, hot cocoa, juice or fruit, pastries and breads. Optional Reception Tent
Any group (other than for a wedding)
may reserve the Reception Tent by the Pond from Monday through Thursday for
$500/day. To reserve the Reception Tent for use on Friday through Sunday, please see Wedding Packages.
A non-wedding group that reserves the entire property (all 21 units) for lodging, may reserve the Reception Tent for $500 per day or $1000 per week during the dates that they have all lodging reserved. Outside Guests If you or your group will have a number of visitors join you at the Garden Area or the Pool, we must know in advance. The cost is $3 per extra person for the Garden Area or Pool, and $5 per extra person for the use of both. Group Events without Lodging The Garden Area may be rented Monday through Thursday for a specific event without lodging. A reservation is needed with full payment. The fee is $500 for a 5 hour block of time. It is $600 if the pool will also be used. Pool towels are supplied. Campground restrooms are available for changing. Please call regarding availability and your specific needs. Booking the Entire Property You make book the entire property for exclusive use of your group and receive an extra 5% discount for each day that the full property is booked. Your exclusive use will prevent any future bookings including campsites to people outside your group. Once we receive the 50% deposit of all 21 units (all rooms and cabins), your group will get an additional 5% lodging discount for those days; all campsites do not have to be reserved to receive the discount. You will have full day-use of the property for those days (however overnight campsites must be paid for). Please be sure to book as early as possible to prevent others from booking any part of the property. Sorry, cancellation would result in the forfeiture of all deposit money. There is a 2 night minimum and your exclusive use will be from check-in time the first day to check out time on the last day. |

Our 30' by 60' white Reception Tent
is erected at the Pond area from May through September. Consider using our tent
for a catered gathering, live entertainment, a pot luck, or as your groups
"community center". The 1800 square foot tent has tables and chairs available
for up to 150 people. The tent has sides, most with windows. The sides can be
opened during good weather. The tent has a carpeted raised floor and
a 15' by 18' dance floor. There is a chandelier controlled by a dimmer to
set the right mood plus perimeter lighting. Electrical power is also available.
